Slowly moving vertical Sludge scraper is installed on a main beam which is moved around the circular tanks. Untreated water is pumped in from the center pit of the tank, which causes an overflow of up clean water and sludge concentrating in the bottom, concentrated sludge then removed from the bottom at a continuous low speed.
